Assistant Project Manager (Commercial)
Your role
- Assist the Project Manager in their day-to-day tasks.
- Help build the schedule and learn the plans.
- Closely monitor communications with customers, teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure that priorities, delivery dates and budgets are met.
- Be responsible for the components required to start the project, including quotes, permits, confirmation of feasibility, evaluations and estimates, etc.
- Obtain best prices from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Make site visits to ensure the project is progressing according to schedule and update it on a weekly basis.
- Monitor problems that arise for the duration of the project.
- Make purchase orders and arrange payment.
- Prepare and send invoices.
- Write and submit various reports.
- Perform any other related tasks.

Experience and training
- This position requires 0 to 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- The candidate must hold a health and safety on construction sites card (ASP).
- A high school diploma (DES) is required for this position.
- Preference will be given to people with a good knowledge of the rules, norms and standards of this industry.
